It seems to me that the Old Testament was the law and then Jesus came and the New Testament was written with new rules in it. So now we can eat meat, can’t own slaves, and humans actually have rights. Who wrote the Old Testament, when was it written? Who wrote the New Testament, when was it written? Which does God speak in? How do we know there isn’t a Newer Testament that God wanted in there but we didn’t believe the guy that wrote it? Why do people totally disregard the Old Testament when it comes to rules but believes all the historical data in it as truth?

Because its god’s will to cherry-pick whatever parts of the bible suit your fancy. God gave us intellect, it would be a sin not to use that intellect to distort and manipulate the supposed words of god to our own gain.
God speaks in the events that happen in real life. Any fool can write a book.
There IS, in effect, a third testement. It’s called the Koran. It was meant to build on the Old and New testement. I don’t believe in it, but in theory it fits the description.
My Lotus Sutra is the 3rd Testament. It seems that is translated from the English version but it is my own because I have fullfiled it.
I am not saying that I am Jesus, I am saying that I am Buddha and according to Lotus Sutra it make sence. I am not false prophet of Christianity, I am true votary of the Lotus Sutra.
I am votary of the Lotus Sutra sent by Buddhas.
Many people may think: we do not need you. We have enough false prophets. Everybody may claim that he or she is prophet.
When you will understand why you need me, it may be too late. Please think about that!
Jesus was true God for that time. Because we now live in more advanced civilisations, we need new teaching. Jesus has fullfilled the prophecy of the Old Testament then, I am fullfilling the prophecy of the Lotus Sutra now.
