Henrietta asked:
Do all Christians just follow the New Testament, or do some denominations also follow the Old Testament? Do Jews follow the Old Testament, but not the New Testament? Do the Jews have their own Bible?

I follow the truth, we all evolved from lower life.

Only smart people follow the New Testament because they can make more profit from it.

Christians follow both.
Jews have Talmud and Torah.
First five books of old Testament (the pentateuch) are accepted by both Jews and Christians.

Jews follow the Pentateuch, and definitely not the New Testament. Christians (try) to follow the New Testament and ONLY refer to the Old Testament when it suits them. They cherrypick the laws of the Old Testament. If they obeyed all the laws of the Old Testament then, they would no longer be Christians. They’d be Jews.

We follow both. You do have to understand that some things in the Old Testament were only for the Jews. The gentiles were grafted in under a different law, actually the fulfilment of the Law. (Jesus)

Some Christians pick parts of the Old Testament to follow, such as Sabbath keeping and dietary restrictions. Jews follow the Old Testament, but they do not call it the Old Testament.

We cannot follow either. We do the best we can with both.

It isn“t a matter of following one or the other but rather of following the connection and development of one and the other.

Jews do NOT follow the OT… that is Christian scripture and really is not similar to the Tanakh. Jews have many religious writing that they follow. I’ll star this so my Jewish contacts can explain better than I did.

The Jews DO have their own Bible; it’s called the Jewish Bible or the TaNaKh (Torah, Nevai’im, Ketuvi’im). The Old Testament is considered a mistranslated and re-ordered version of our Tanakh and since we do not have a NEW Testament, we do not call ours the OLD Testament.
Edit as a followup to JaxA comment on the Talmud: The Talmud is a collection of what used to be Oral Teachings - now written; clarifications and discussions on the law. For example, the Torah (5 books of Moses) tells us to keep the Shabbat - Sabbath - holy, but never explains how. The Talmud says how. It’s tough to read / study the Talmud, but then again, American jurisprudence is no picnic either!

They since Christ died for our sins we can go by the New Testament.
I find myself trying to do both. More so the New Testament.

The old Testament events are the shadow of the new Testament. e.g. The Exodus. How the Israelites were protected from the angel of death by the blood of the Pascal lamb, is a shadow of the death of Lord Jesus on the cross. Redemption through the Blood. Psalm 22 describes the death on the Cross of our Saviour. Many such examples are there. The Bible (I mean the full Bible) contains both these books. A christian has to follow both these books. The old Testament is more or less the same for Jews and Christians.
The Jews Crucified Jesus who was also a Jew. He was a Sacrificial Lamb for the redemption of mankind. For this purpose He came down from Heaven like an ordinary man. Did the perfect will of the Father.
I hope your doubts are clear.
May God Bless you

The New Testament is a whole different Religion from the Old Testament this is why I have no idea why they put them together.

No one follows the “OT”. It’s a heavily biased Christian translation (all of them) that skews the Hebrew to enable a reading of Jesus as prophesized messiah.
Jews follow Torah and Tanakh. It’s significantly different.
