Seems like Jews had faith then Christians came along and had SUPER faith then came along Mormons with SUPER DUPER faith. Whats next???? What will replace Mormons with SUPER SUPER DUPER faith????

Vernon Dozier: Redux asked:

If you traced your ancestry back 300 years and found a relative who was a proud Calvinist in his lifetime, would you still baptize this relative into the LDS church? What if this relative left explicit instructions in his will and testament that he NOT be baptized into any other faith after his death? Even though baptism is a general practice in the LDS church, would you respect his explicit wishes?
Rac: With all due respect, this is pretty arrogant. It reminds me of open-application credit card offers in the early 90′s wherein banks offered opened lines of credit to credit-worthy consumers without the consumer’s knowledge or approval. It was up to the consumer to find out about the account and close it before finance charges accrued. Needless to say, this practice has been outlawed.
Mike B: Do you think that maybe, just maybe this question might be based on an actual case or event currently in the news somewhere in the US? Nahhh… That would make sense… And you’ve already made your mind up.

I would love to know this because I guess i don’t understand the whole ,our god is a jealous god and gods will and all that Jazz,I would think for an omnipotent being there should be a little more intelligence behind it?

Or are those places just metaphorical and not a real place that exist?

I find it hard to believe that there are places where souls will suffer for eternity and a place where soul will have constant and eternal “orgasm”.

Does not make sense to me.

1) All of the Old Testament laws will be binding forever. “It is easier for Heaven and Earth to pass away than for the smallest part of the letter of the law to become invalid.” (Luke 16:17 NAB)

2)”Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: ‘The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat. So you must obey them and do EVERYTHING they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.’ (Matthew 23:1-3)”

3) Jesus strongly approves of the law and the prophets. “Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill. Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest part or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place.” (Matthew 5:17 NAB)

The new testament was written to change the old ways when many followers were leaving the Judaic/christian church to get a spark and generate a new group of followers. So if the christian faith loses many followers will someone convince people god inspired a new book to be written in the future? Im sure some would believe it..

just barely and it will be like as if he was going through fire…

meaning that his life would be very difficult obviously because he keeps on disobeying God…anyway I need the Book and Verse i know it’s in the new testament (this is the Christian Bible…like King James, NIV or NLT or NAS, NKJ, etc..)

tribe of atheists who were apparently banished from the Holy land for believing and preaching that God doesn’t exist which took power away from those trying to control others. They finally decided to split up and travel to all the nations of the world to spread their word. They left a message to you to rebuild their homeland once enough people have been intellectually freed. Where do you think that will be?

Howard asked:

The bible clearly teaches Jesus died for the sins under the Old Testament and the ending of the Old Testament, Hebrews 9:15 & Romans 7:4-6, as well many other places.

Paul and the apostles were of the transition generation: that is they were alive before Christ died and they were alive after his resurrection, when his New Testament and Will came into force, this is why Paul wrote Christ died for “our” sins, or their sins, to the Corinthians 15:3, over 1900 years ago.

A Will and Testament is not of force until after a person is dead, Heb.9:17, this is why God the Father gave Christ blood of his Testament to flow from him, of a soldier’s spear, after he was dead.

Christ blood flow from his side as the blood of his Testament for, and for the remission of sins under his will and Testament, as Christ spoke at the last supper this cup is the new testament in my blood and for remission of sin, Matt.26:28, refering to sin under that, the New testament.

Christ did not died for our sin under the New testament, his blood was shed or came from him after he was dead for remission of our new testament sin. Who thinks it matters to get the gospel right?

Howard asked:

Why do Christians not know that Jesus died for sins under the Old Testament, Heb.9:16 shows. And his death was for the ending of the old testament. He had to take away the 1st. before he could give the 2nd. or his Will & Testament, or New testament.

Why do christians not know Jesus blood caused to flow after his death (of spear) for his will and testament and for remission of sin under his will and (new) testament; which cam to force at his resurrection.
