Though how could you forget. Approximately 1 year ago from today in a few days time (hard to believe). Heart pounding stuff out at Subiaco, Sportbets across Australia were scratching their head over this one. West Coast, who were recently the powerhouse side of the AFL were drifting, and Collingwood were pretty much how they are now. In fairness to West Coast, they were missing Kerr, Judd and Cousins on that day, though does that mean it was a testament to the rest of the team, and wether or not those 3 carried the side? Anywho, the match ended in a draw, and I remember at the end all our players were desperatley trying to kick a mere point whilst West Coast’s boys were tackling and smothering in slippery conditions. A memorable smother goes out to Michael Braun, spoiling Harry O’Brien in what was seemingly a definite point, possible goal. Collingwood eventually won the match in two 5 minute halves in over time. The best match I’ve possibly ever seen, so much so I now own it on DVD. If you’re a supporter of one of the other 14 teams, I don’t think you quite understand what us Collingwood/Eagles fans went through on that night. Your thoughts about it?

REMEMBER WHEN WE WON LAST YEARS SEMIS!. its just me danni, a 15-year old boy, so cool it a little..
oh and just to be smart, cos i figured ur playing at that game danni, do u not also not recall when we beat you thiss year by a clear 100 points. but no no, your a much better club than us, what day are west coast playing this weekend by the way?
Umm i got it through that Name a Game thing, but from the Lexus Centre. I would’ve loved to of been there too, but would’ve been worse for you as i preume u live in W.A and there wasnt much chance of me flying over from VIC.
Fair enough Brutally Honest – SA, I’m guessing either cos’ their intersate or because you don’t like Collingwood? I recieved i think 9 text messages within about 2 minutes after the siren rang from all my mates..

ahh ok wc eagles#9. ive been on a 15-year waiting list to become an mcg member, payed off so much tho. and as lozz said, I have a great deal of respect for the fact that u can say it was a good match and all. great sportsmanship and reasons like that why the afls so great, its not full of one eyed supporters. sort of like how i can admit the prelim final against geelong the following week was a ripper, and in the end would have to say they deserved to be there on the last day
