Your Peter asked:
I heard New Jersey pased a law in 1973 that places a time limit on last wills and testaments. And that because my mother’s will was written in 1966, it may no longer be valid. We have not found other wills, or changes to my mother’s 1966 will. My mom passed away in November, 2007. The will also was drawn up by a lawyer, signed by witnesses and signed by my mother. Everything on the will appears to be legitimate. Anyone one know anything about this or where I might find an answer? My many thanks.

If “John” is named as executor, in his mother’s Last Will and Testament, and it states that “John” is to share equally with siblings any cash received from “real, personal, and mixed property”, of the deceased—-and “John” is also the sole beneficiary on the mother’s Life Insurance policies, by law, is “John” required to share that cash with siblings?
Thank you, in advance, for any legal advice you may have.

What does a trust clause mean, in simple terms?
give some examples. =]
Well i live in the state of California, it doesn’t need to be detailed and exact, its just that i have to make a will for one of my classes, and it’s about this old lady and blabhablah, but i’m not sure what to put in that section, like who to appoint as trustee? because the old lady appointed a representative that will be the executor of her will, but that’s in a different section of the will.
she also has an adopted son that’s incompetent, so she assigned her niece to take care of him, and the niece is going to get 1500 a month for taking care of the boy, so im not sure if that would go in that section? or somewhere else, because since there is a guardianship clause after that, i was thinking of puting her in there, but i dont know if the amount she will be getting goes there too =/

Everything was in my Mother’s name. Car, furniture, etc. I saw him shread documents. he has deleted files from my Mother’s Computer saying “Last Will And Testament. He is acting as the personal representive of my Mother’s Estate. He is only interested in his own personal gain. When I found out that my Mother had Cancer we moved to live with her. He is now trying to evict me and my Daughter from the property. I have items in my home that also belonged to my Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. Is he entilted to my family heirlooms? I am confused, because I want to do legally; One moment he verbally tells me and others that he does not want her furniture. Next he says I am
