last will testament
samantha s asked:

So here is what is going on. My husbands grandfather died Friday. He has been in the hospital since April of this year. Well at the funeral my husbands mom was given a will that was dated in May. In the will he left nothing to his kids and left all his property to his sons step daughter. It was one of those wills that was drawn up from a Internet web site. I has one witness and was notarized by a friend of the woman who got everything. My mother in law is upset. Is this a valid will. Should she fight it? She was at the hospital with her dad for 15 weeks straight. Help me to help her. She needs advice.

I think it might have been a year or something like that. He stopped shaving, he ate a strictly kosher diet, etc, and he wrote about the whole experience? Does this sound familiar? I think the book came out fairly recently (within the last year or so).

Thanks!

Since Jesus gave the authority of the truth to Peter, wouldn’t he have known that it wouldn’t last? Wouldn’t he have had a back-up plan for Peter to keep passing the authority and therefore never becoming corrupt? Since you believe the teaching did become corrupt, why did Jesus wait so long to restore it? You say this is all throughout the Bible even in the Old Testament, (the restoring of faith and teaching) so what makes you think your teaching won’t become corrupt? If the authority straight from Jesus can become corrupt, why can’t Joseph Smith’s? Since apostasy is constantly restored through history, wouldn’t history keep repeating itself — eventually another restoration should come again, right?
So how do you know it’s talking about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and not some other church? It doesn’t talk about your church specifically.
So God purposely planned for his people to be lead falsely for a few hundred years? It was his plan for Jesus’ plan to become corrupt?

I have a mortgage on my house, a car loan and a motorcycle loan. I have three children, one of which is of age. No spouse and no Last Will and Testament. What will happen to these liabilities when I die? I realize that I would need to contact an attorney, and I will, but I would like to know now what would happen in this situation? All items be repossessed? Would my of age child be responsible for making payments, if she so wished?

not Apocalypse?
I didn’t remember my Bible at the Chapel today, so I used their Bible. Their Bible’s last book was Apocalypse (New Catholic Bible 1956 print), not Revelations (like mine – NIV), and tripled the number of pages and amount of information. I’m trying to locate a Bible with last book as Apocalypse. Any help would be appreciated, I can not find the “New Catholic” version.

In a last will and testament I am named as executor, and certain things where directed to some individuals Although I have been informed by the person whos will it is that they have changed the direction of items. This was in handwritten form and signed on the will that this was the wish without being retyped. Is it legal without going to a lawyer and having it rewritten by the lawyer?

There are a lot of wars and attacks and he’s always promising to help wipe every last one of them away. So how do we know who’s side He’s on today when two nations fight against each other? Does he want one group to be completely wiped away as has come close to happening in recent times?

In Mark, Jesus’ last words on the cross, “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”. Mark is by the way the first book written after Jesus’ death. Why did his last words change in later books until he almost seems like he had everything planned and couldn’t wait?

Also, in Mark it mentions nothing about him being the Son of God, or born from a virgin. Is it possible that people had to change everything as they went along to fulfill the Old Testament “prophecies”?
