Rick C asked:
Some people believe the New Testament shall supercede the Old Testament. So does that mean that the Old Testament laws are no longer valid, and that we shall concentrate on the New Testament ones? God surely has supernatural clairvoyance beyond our wildest imagination, so i wonder why he would change the laws. He knew, from the first day of creation, when the last day would occur.

i finished reading the book of Mathew in the new testament last night, and Jesus died at the end so i wondered what the rest of the books were about . turns out their all pretty much the same thing so whats the point in reading all of them and which one should i believe in.

OT – speaks of (plural) “generations” of Adam
NT – speaks of (singular) “generation” of JC
OT – Solomon says it’s all vanity & vexation
NT – Finds fault with the 1st, need for a 2nd
If a last will & testament makes the previous null & void, does a last amen also make previous amens null & void?

Old Testament says “Yes”
Ecclessiastes 1:4 One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the Earth abideth forever.

New Testament says “No”
Matthew 24:35, Mark 13:31, Luke 21:33
Heaven and Earth shall pass away; but my words shall not pass away.
Personally, I would agree more with the New Testament, but I want to hear your thoughts.

My grandmother made two amendments to a trust. But it appears that neither were notarized. When the trust was created in 1992, each of her two sons were getting a home. But each of the two amendments removed them both and put on a grandson and a great-granddaughter as beneficiaries instead. In her last Will and Testament, she has the grandson and great-granddaughter getting a home. Which one is valid or which will hold up if contested?
