I have a few nice pieces of family jewelry, clothing, furniture and art I want to leave to my daugher. I would like to give the rest of my assets to my fiance.
Also, I want my parents to have minimal involvement in my daughter’s life. I am dealing with multiple mental problems bc I was emotionally and psychologically abused. I have been stabbed in the back and scapegoated for years.
I have cut ties with my folks and want to keep my daughter from their sickness. How should I write my will so as to keep them from her? My daughter’s father supports my decision as he has seen the dysfunctional behavior himself.
We want to leave our daughter in the care of his folks and to his sister and brother-in-law should his folks pass away. They support us in our wishes. What specifically, should we put into the will to protect our daughter from my folks?

What is the best way to contest a family members last will and testament? I believe my grandmother was cohersed or not
in her correct mind when she changed her will at age 93! What can or should i do to get this process started?
She changed her will (which cant find a copy of the older will) from my mother and myself being sole benificiaries and executors to a family friend solely inheriting 8 income producing properties. This person will recieve all these properties as soon as my mother passes with me recieving nothing. My mother has rights to the properties and monies accumulated from until her passing. At that time he inherits all properties and monies associated with. Interesting enough this person that is going to inherit these properties is also the executor of my grandmothers estate. So in turn he is kicking me off the family home property(seperate but part of estate) now after somehow convincing my mother that the family home and property must be sold to meet a loan obligation(2nd mortgage) that was taken out on the family home.I have been taking care of my grandmother and mother in the capacity of caretaker for the last 20 years.Need answers on what to do about this executor and will change issue.
My grandmothers lawyer who helped her change her last will is also the executors attorney. So going to this attorney is useless effort for me. I remember as far back as when i was 16 hearing from gma and gpa that i was to become executor of her estate when both have passed! My mother is not too business savvy so she would not be executor at that time. Please give me some answers as to what direction to go. I haven’t the money(being caretaker for last 20 years) to hire an attorney to help me in this matter!! Please please help me!!!

My husband is having major surgery in a week so we decided to write a will. We are writing it ourselves. We have everything done except for the part regarding our child. Naturally, If anything happens to me our child will go to him and if anything happens to him our child will go to me. But if something happened to both of us, we want to leave her equally to our mothers. How do I put this in a will that I want them to have equal guardianship of out daughter? Please give me references/web address to view the information on splitting guardianship in a will. We don’t have the money for a lawyer. Thanks.
